Ansal University was established in 2006 by combining various schools set up by Ansal Industrial House. The Ansals have been in the real estate and construction business for about a century and it all started when Chiranjiv Charitable Trust established a school of architectural education to address the gap in Indian architectural education. This institute was Sushant School of Art and Architecture and its foundation was laid by Mr. Sushil Ansal in 1989.
