Banasthali Vidyapith is a fully residential women's university which offers an integrated system. Historically, On October 6, 1935, Smt. Ratan Shastri and Pandit Hiralal Shastri founded Banasthali to fill up the vacuum caused by the death of their daughter Shantabai. They had high expectations from her that she would work for women's causes when she grew up but destiny ordained otherwise.
